What Shadow does
Shadow is a local product with two durable jobs:
- Brief you on the Outcome, active lanes, proof, and any real hard-rail decision.
- Claim and dispatch path-disjoint work to native Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor, then integrate proof and continue through every reachable row.
Its one root board per computer groups entity pointers under projects and stores only global priority, claims/owners, and one resume checkpoint per entity. Entity-owned PLAN.md files retain milestone/checkpoint text, proof, and evidence; scoped receipts stay inside the owning Git project. The attempt receipt (shadow.host-attempt.v1) contains generic host facts and the frozen task's SHA-256 only. Shadow does not choose a model, relay credentials, keep raw conversations, or run a background agent system.
